Tom Simmons

President, Southern Region

As President of Kimco’s Southern Region, including Texas and Florida as well as our national Mixed-Use and Lifestyle Collection portfolios, Tom Simmons directs a substantial portfolio encompassing over 35 million square feet across more than 200 properties. His extensive background includes over fifteen years of service at Kimco overseeing departmental functions in Leasing, Property Management, Acquisitions, Asset Management, Construction and Development. Tom has extensive experience with redevelopment, remerchandising and rebranding within Kimco’s Core and Lifestyle Collection’s and was largely responsible for the successful repositioning of Kimco’s flagship Suburban Square asset, among others. Tom’s strategic foresight and deep industry knowledge have been crucial in optimizing asset management, merchandising, and redevelopment strategies, particularly within the Lifestyle Collection.
